For Dr. Mickey Gallagher, dentistry in Metairie isn’t simply where he practices-it’s home.
Born and raised in Metairie, Dr. Mickey attended Jesuit High School. After Jesuit, he attended Loyola University New Orleans, where he was a founding member of the Loyola baseball team. He graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2000, beginning a career dedicated to caring for the people and families of the community he has always called home.
Gallagher Family Dentistry’s story began long before that. The practice was established in 1967 by Dr. Richard Gallagher, creating a tradition of family dentistry in Metairie that has continued for nearly 60 years. In 2012, Dr. Mickey Gallagher officially took over the practice, proudly carrying that legacy forward for another generation.
